Public Participation at a Morgan County School District Re-3 Board Meeting

Morgan County School District Re-3 Board of Education meetings are open to the public.  Because our Board of Education desires to hear the viewpoints of members of the public, there is a designated time during board meetings for brief comments and questions from the public.  The Board has a time limit on the length of the public participation time and/or a time limit for individual speakers.

Below are the policies for participating in a board meeting.  Please read the policies and complete the form in policy BEDH-E.  Submit the completed form to the board clerk at the District Support Center or send it by email.

For an item to be considered for Board Action, the Board Action Form must be submitted to the Office of the Superintendent by the Wednesday prior to the board meeting.  

After completing the form, including the form signed by your administrator, please send the original through our interoffice mail system to the executive assistant to the superintendent.
